Tasting Notes

The Experience

A Connecticut with plenty of character, leaning more toward toasted, nutty and structured flavors than overt creaminess.

Toasted bread, cedar and nuts led the profile, with dry almond, light wood, subtle natural sweetness and gentle spices adding depth. The cigar remained remarkably consistent throughout, delivering a clean and well-defined experience with solid construction and an easy draw.

Then came the cappuccino—and that changed the experience. The milk and foam provided the creaminess I was missing, while the coffee complemented the toasted bread, nuts and cedar beautifully. Suddenly, everything felt rounder and more complete.

Final Thoughts

“On its own, a distinctive and well-crafted Connecticut. With a cappuccino, this pairing simply works.”
