#5
88 out of 100. My Score: the CigarSolace Scale
A refined, well-constructed cigar that stood out more for its balance than for dramatic complexity.
The Experience
A refined, well-constructed cigar that stood out more for its balance than for dramatic complexity.
The first third opened with toasted almonds, cedar, clean coffee, light white pepper, and a smooth creamy texture. As the smoke progressed, roasted nuts, wood, clean earth, and a discreet natural sweetness added depth while keeping the profile composed and easy to enjoy.
The final third brought a little more coffee, cedar, and white pepper, along with a pleasant toasted-nut note. It remained balanced throughout, never becoming bitter, harsh, or overly heavy.
Construction was excellent, with a consistent draw, even burn, firm ash, and smooth smoke.
Final Thoughts
“Although its profile did not completely align with what I personally seek, the My Father #5 was an elegant and enjoyable experience that I would gladly revisit.”
