Connecticut — Corona
Mild–Medium
89 out of 100. My Score: the CigarSolace Scale
A Connecticut I genuinely enjoyed. Smooth and refined, but with enough flavor and structure to never feel light or empty.
The Experience
A Connecticut I genuinely enjoyed. Smooth and refined, but with enough flavor and structure to never feel light or empty.
Cedar, almond and nuts lead the profile, joined by natural sweetness, soft creaminess and a lightly toasted character. As it develops, coffee becomes more noticeable and the texture turns rounder, with a subtle buttercream-like softness tying everything together.
The final third keeps the balance nicely, bringing a little more wood and coffee without losing the cigar’s elegant Connecticut character.
Construction was very good, with an easy draw, clean burn and a consistently pleasant smoke.
The cappuccino was an excellent pairing. The coffee echoed the roasted notes, while the milk amplified the cream, almond and nuttiness beautifully.
Final Thoughts
“Creamy, nutty, lightly sweet and easy to enjoy — exactly the kind of Connecticut that works for my palate.”
