About La Aroma de Cuba
La Aroma de Cuba is an old Cuban brand name that Ashton acquired and brought back in 2003. Robert Levin, Ashton's founder, made it one of his lines outside the Ashton name. It was first made at the Flor de Copán factory in Honduras and later moved to the García family's My Father Cigars factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, where it is still rolled.
The line grew with extensions such as Mi Amor, Mi Amor Reserva and the Edición Especial. The Noblesse, released on September 25, 2014, was a limited edition of 3,000 boxes of 24: a 6 1/2 x 52 toro with an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, Nicaraguan habano and criollo binders and Nicaraguan filler.
La Aroma de Cuba is the brand I have written about most after Rocky Patel, with six notes. The Noblesse, at 95 points, and the Mi Amor, at 94, are among my highest scores.

A Connecticut I genuinely enjoyed. Smooth and refined, but with enough flavor and structure to never feel light or empty.
