The Experience
The first time I smoked this, I wasn’t expecting much. It stayed with me.
It opens dark — deep chocolate with a pepper note that shows up early. Present, but controlled. There’s structure to it.
As it settles, the profile rounds out. Toasted bread, light wood, a bit of earth. More balanced, more composed.
The retrohale brings the pepper back up — more than I prefer. I don’t repeat it. But it says something about the cigar. It knows what it is.
An aged rum or a smooth bourbon works well here. It pulls out a subtle sweetness and softens the edge without taking over.
Final Thoughts
“Cigar with identity. Consistent. One I keep coming back to.”
