Tasting Notes

The Experience

A few days into the trip, taking in the stillness of the landscape, I reached for this Cuban.

Cold air changes everything.

From the start, it leans structured — wood, toasted notes, and a subtle sweetness trying to come through, but never fully opening.

The smoke is dense. Elegant. But the profile stays on the drier side.

As it develops, toasted nuttiness, wood, and soft spice build with consistency. The sweetness appears in moments, but never takes over.

The environment shapes it.

The cold sharpens the profile — reduces the creaminess, tightens the edges, and pushes the experience toward something more defined, less indulgent.

Final Thoughts

“Refined. Controlled. Technical. More to observe than to surrender to.”

Personal tasting notes and scores. Every palate is different.
