Tasting Notes
The Experience
A pleasant, well-balanced Connecticut that started closer to my palate than several others I’ve tried recently.
Toasted nuts, soft spices and toasted bread lead the profile, joined by light natural sweetness and a subtle touch of cacao. There wasn’t much creaminess, but the cigar stayed clean and enjoyable, without the pronounced bitterness that can sometimes take over this style.
As it developed, the toasted and nutty character remained consistent. By the beginning of the final third, cedar became more prominent and the bread-like notes intensified, giving the cigar a slightly woodier finish.
Construction was solid and the flavors were clear throughout.
Final Thoughts
“A good Connecticut with toasted nuts, bread, cedar and gentle sweetness. Enjoyable and well made, though by the final third I felt I had already experienced most of what the cigar had to offer.”
