Tasting Notes

The Experience

A pleasant and straightforward Connecticut with a clear toasted personality.

Wood, cedar, nuts and plenty of toasted bread define the profile. I expected a little more creaminess from the wrapper, but this expression leaned more toward dry, woody and toasted flavors while still remaining balanced and easy to enjoy.

What I liked most was its versatility. I can easily see this working with a cappuccino in the morning or afternoon, or with an Old Fashioned later in the day.

Well executed, approachable and consistent from start to finish.

Final Thoughts

“Not the creamiest Connecticut, but a solid and versatile smoke with a clear identity.”
