FASA Sombra — Toro

Connecticut | Mild–Medium

88 out of 100. My Score: the CigarSolace Scale

A Connecticut that genuinely surprised me. Not the creamiest expression of the style, but it delivers enough creaminess, natural sweetness and softness to create a very enjoyable experience.

Tasting Notes

The Experience

A Connecticut that genuinely surprised me. Not the creamiest expression of the style, but it delivers enough creaminess, natural sweetness and softness to create a very enjoyable experience.

Light cream, almond, coffee and sweet hay define the profile, complemented by soft toasted wood and just a touch of pepper. Everything stays clean and balanced, with enough sweetness to keep the cigar smooth and inviting throughout.

What I enjoyed most was its simplicity. It doesn’t try to overwhelm with strength or complexity—it’s an easygoing, well-balanced smoke that simply works.

Construction was solid, with an easy draw, consistent burn and pleasant smoke production.

Final Thoughts

“Definitely one I’d smoke again, especially in the morning with a coffee or cappuccino. Sometimes a relaxed Connecticut is exactly what the moment calls for.”
