Special Reserve Sun Grown Maduro

A bold and complex cigar that surprised me in a very positive way.

From the first draws, dark spices and black pepper led the profile, supported by dark cocoa, roasted coffee, earth, dark wood, and toasted nuts. The strength gradually moved from medium-full toward full, but remained controlled and well balanced throughout.

What impressed me most was how well the spice integrated with the darker flavors. Rather than feeling aggressive, it added depth and kept the experience dynamic and interesting.

Construction was solid, with a consistent draw, stable burn, compact ash, and generous smoke production. The box-pressed format was also very comfortable throughout the smoke.

The finish was one of the highlights: long, pleasant, and persistent, leaving behind notes of cocoa, coffee, earth, and spice.
