I expected something overly aggressive and overpowering based on the name and reputation, but the Punch Diablo delivered a far more refined and balanced experience than anticipated.
Dark spice, earthiness, espresso, charred wood, and roasted coffee created a bold profile, yet everything felt controlled and intentional rather than chaotic. The spice stayed integrated without becoming harsh.
Construction was excellent throughout — clean burn, solid ash retention, and enough smoke density to feel satisfying while still maintaining refinement.
As the cigar progressed, dark cocoa, leather, and dry spice developed naturally, creating a medium-full experience with depth but without becoming exhausting.
By the final third, the spice intensified and the profile became darker and more aggressive, though it never lost structure or balance.
