The Experience
A cigar with plenty of character from the start.
Natural sweetness, leather, black coffee and black pepper define the opening, creating a dark and structured profile. What made the experience especially interesting was the tension between the wrapper and binder.
As the second third developed, the Ecuadorian Sumatra became more noticeable, shifting the profile toward a drier, spicier and earthier expression.
The cigar remained well constructed and clearly intentional in its personality, but by the end of the second third I knew the profile was moving farther away from what I personally enjoy most.
