Tasting Notes

The Experience

A very well-executed Lancero with a dry, toasted and refined expression.

Dry wood and toasted notes lead the profile, joined by a light bitterness that stays controlled throughout the smoke. The cigar remains clean and consistent, with a focused character that fits the Lancero format very well.

Construction was one of the highlights: stable burn, compact ash and a remarkably consistent delivery for a 38-ring gauge.

I kept thinking a cappuccino would have been an excellent pairing — reinforcing the toasted notes while adding a little extra roundness.

A special thank you to Javier, owner of Cigar Zone, for sending this one my way after finding out I wanted to try it.

Final Thoughts

“A focused, elegant and very well-made Lancero that I’m glad I had the opportunity to experience.”
