Tasting Notes

The Experience

Slowing things down with something local.

Sometimes a cigar doesn’t need to be the strongest or most complex to stand out.

“El Charlie” surprised me with balance, consistency, and an enjoyable smoke from start to finish.

The San Andrés wrapper brings cocoa, soft espresso, and toasted wood, with an elegant spice that stays well integrated. The smoke feels silky, aromatic, and nicely dense.

The Dominican and Nicaraguan blend creates a clean balance between refinement and depth, without becoming bitter or aggressive. Construction was solid — even burn, compact ash, and a consistent draw throughout.

More than chasing intensity, this cigar leans into balance, aromatic clarity, and consistency… and it does it very well.
