Sorella
80 out of 100. My Score: the CigarSolace Scale
Trying something darker and more aggressive than my usual preference.
The Experience
Trying something darker and more aggressive than my usual preference.
From the first draws, this cigar leans heavily into dry spice, dark roasted coffee, and deep earthy notes. Strength sits comfortably in the medium-full range almost immediately.
The construction feels solid and the aromatic presence is noticeable, but the smoke lacks the creaminess and natural sweetness I personally look for most. Instead, the experience moves toward a drier, more bitter, and robust profile rather than something smooth and elegant.
As the smoke progressed, the dominant spice and bitterness began to fatigue my palate fairly quickly, especially approaching the end of the first third, to the point where I decided to let the cigar rest for another occasion.
Final Thoughts
“Not a bad cigar at all — simply not aligned with the type of experience I enjoy the most.”
