The Experience
This turned into a very different experience than expected.
Before even lighting it, the cigar had already been exposed to extreme heat after spending several hours inside a hot car. Even after resting for days in the humidor under controlled conditions, it still felt unusually dry and fragile in hand.
From the first draws, the smoke lacked density and aromatic richness. Instead of the creamy vanilla, soft coffee, and refined sweetness I expected, the profile leaned heavily into dry spice, rough toasted notes, and a thinner, more hollow smoke.
More than judging the blend itself, this felt like a cigar affected by heat and poor storage conditions long before the smoke.
Final Thoughts
“Unfortunately, not every place that sells cigars maintains the proper conditions to preserve them correctly — and it’s genuinely disappointing when a handmade premium cigar loses the chance to fully express what it was meant to be.”
