Tasting Notes

The Experience

A visually striking barber pole combining Connecticut Shade and Connecticut Broadleaf.

The contrast between both wrappers stays present throughout the smoke, moving between darker and lighter expressions without either one fully taking over.

Dark chocolate, toasted nuts, dryness and gentle spice define the profile. The only drawback was the burn: this unit required several touch-ups despite smoking it slowly.

Final Thoughts

“Still, it was distinctive, enjoyable and worth revisiting—especially with a cappuccino or an Old Fashioned.”
