Tasting Notes

The Experience

A classic Nicaraguan profile with plenty of character.

From the first draws, earth, espresso, dark cocoa, cedar, and black pepper established the foundation of the experience. The profile leaned toward roasted and spicy notes rather than creaminess, creating a smoke that felt bold, structured, and unmistakably Nicaraguan.

What I appreciated most was its definition. Each note remained clear throughout the smoke, maintaining a consistent character without becoming overwhelming.

The construction also deserves recognition. The draw remained comfortable, the burn stayed under control, and the cigar delivered enough smoke to fully appreciate its darker profile.

Final Thoughts

“This wasn’t the type of indulgent, creamy experience I usually gravitate toward, but it was a very good reminder of why Nicaraguan blends continue to have such a loyal following.”
