About El Cigarreño

El Cigarreño has two very different faces in my notes: a Connecticut and a Maduro Oscuro with a San Andrés wrapper.

Little has been published about this brand yet, so what I know comes from smoking it. The Connecticut goes toward toasted wood, cedar and dry earth rather than cream, at 84 points. The Maduro Oscuro is dark chocolate, cacao and espresso with a molasses-like sweetness; in Robusto Box Pressed it reached 89, and in Figurado, more concentrated and better integrated, 90.
