Habano Oscuro

A cigar with an impressive opening and a blend that shows plenty of potential.

The first draws delivered rich dark chocolate, natural sweetness, clean earth, and dark wood. The opening was especially enjoyable, with enough depth and balance to immediately capture my attention.

As the cigar progressed, the profile became darker and more intense. The earthy and woody notes gained presence, while the initial sweetness gradually became more subtle. Toward the later stages, the finish developed a sharper character that slightly reduced the harmony of the opening.

Its dark, rustic wrapper was visually striking, and the cigar clearly revealed a strong foundation. My impression is that additional humidor rest could help the flavors integrate even further, allowing the chocolate and natural sweetness to remain more expressive throughout the experience.
