Tasting Notes

The Experience

Taking a step back.

From the start, it leans into a darker profile — wood and toasted notes leading the way. There’s structure to it, but it moves on the drier side, with a spice that stays present throughout.

As it builds, the intensity comes up. The profile deepens, reinforcing that same direction — more robust, more grounded. It doesn’t shift away from it.

The construction holds. Clean burn. Consistent delivery.

At some point it’s clear where it lives.

It leans toward darker spice and structure rather than creaminess or roundness. A more defined, assertive profile.

A bourbon works well here. It adds a bit of warmth and softens the edges without changing its character.

Final Thoughts

“Well executed. Clear in its intent. Just a different direction from what I usually gravitate toward.”
