About Aladino

Aladino is a creation of Julio Eiroa, the patriarch of a Cuban tobacco family who started growing tobacco in Honduras in 1963 and whose family owned Camacho from 1995 to 2008. It was first shown and soft-launched in 2015 under CLE Cigar Company, his son Christian's company.

In 2016 Julio and his son Justo Eiroa formed JRE Tobacco, and Aladino moved there along with Tarascan and Rancho Luna. The original line is a Honduran Corojo puro: wrapper, binder and filler are all authentic Corojo from the Eiroa family's farms in the Jamastrán Valley.

My note is the Classic Elegante, a traditional 38-ring smoke that rewards a slow pace, at 86 points.
