Espinosa Announces a La Bomba Warhead for the TAA
A 6 x 55 box-pressed toro made for the retailers of the Tobacconists' Association of America is due in November, limited to 12,500 cigars.
Espinosa Premium Cigars has announced the 601 La Bomba Warhead TAA 2026 Exclusive, planned for November.
It is a 6 x 55 box-pressed toro with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler. The company describes it as its own take on the existing Warhead blend. It is made at the San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, and limited to 1,250 boxes of 10, or 12,500 cigars. The suggested price is $16 per cigar, or $160 per box.
The Warhead line began in 2013 and comes out as a limited edition once a year, known for its strength and for packaging inspired by World War II bombs. Owner Erik Espinosa called it the company’s first limited edition and its most anticipated release each year.
This version is made for the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA), a group of retailers and manufacturers that meets once a year. Its 2026 meeting runs Oct. 25 to 29 at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. Each year, a number of manufacturers make exclusive cigars for the group’s member stores, and give part of the proceeds to the association.
Kristoff, Gurkha and Villiger Cigars North America have also announced their TAA releases for this year.
