Cohiba Talismán Becomes the First Cohiba Limited Edition to Go Regular
Habanos S.A. has moved the 2017 Edición Limitada Talismán into Cohiba's Línea Clásica, with a new foot band and NFC packaging.
Habanos S.A. has added the Cohiba Talismán to the Cohiba Línea Clásica. The cigar first came out as an Edición Limitada in 2017, and it is the first Cohiba limited edition to move into regular production.
The Talismán is a 6 1/8 x 54 and will be sold in boxes of 10.
The relaunch took place in London on October 7, the same city where the limited edition was first presented in 2017. It would likely have been shown at the 2026 Habanos Festival, but that event was canceled earlier this year.
The new presentation brings two changes. The cigar now carries a foot band with the vitola’s name, and the packaging includes NFC technology: a compatible phone can scan it to verify the product and identify the line. Habanos S.A. says this new presentation will gradually extend to the rest of the Línea Clásica.
