Casa Carrillo, the company of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr., has announced its 2026 TAA Exclusive, a limited cigar for the member stores of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA). It is due next week.
The size is a 5 1/2 x 58, chosen to show off the blend. The wrapper is Ecuadorian Habano and the binder Ecuadorian Sumatra, and the filler mixes tobacco from four countries: the United States, Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Perez-Carrillo said in the announcement that the goal was to bring tobaccos from different origins together for depth and balance, and described the result as a medium-plus cigar.
Production is limited to 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars, at $14 per cigar. The company says it will not make more once they are gone.
The TAA meets Oct. 25 to 29 at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. Espinosa, Joya de Nicaragua, Rocky Patel and others have also announced exclusive cigars for the group this year.
