About OZ Family

OZ Family Cigars is the company of Tim Ozgener, son of Cano Ozgener, the founder of CAO. The surname carries a long family history in tobacco, from Turkish meerschaum pipes to the CAO cigars of Nashville.

Karatoba, its fourth regular line, joins two places in its name: "Kara", Turkish for black or dark, and "Toba", for Indonesia's Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake in the world. It has a Sumatra-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador, a Nicaraguan binder and filler from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, and was the first time OZ Family worked with the Nicaragua American Cigars factory.

My note is the Karatoba Toro Box Pressed, at 88 points.
