About Gran Habano

Gran Habano is a family brand of Colombian roots. Guillermo Rico makes it at his GR Tabacaleras Unidas factory in Danlí, Honduras. His son George Rico came to the United States from Colombia in 1988, at nine, and followed his father into the cigar business, where together they led STC Cigars, the maker of Gran Habano.

In 2008 George left to create his own brand, G.A.R., and in 2010 he returned with Azteca. Today he produces cigars under both the G.A.R. and Gran Habano names.

My note is the Corojo Vintage 2002, a classic profile, as I expected, at 85 points.
