About El Club del Turro
El Club del Turro makes its cigars in Puerto Rico, and, as I wrote in my note, there is something different about smoking a cigar made in Puerto Rico.
Little has been published about this brand yet, so what I know comes from smoking it. El Chango Azul is an easygoing, balanced Toro of clean earth, cedar and soft coffee, at 87 points. The Escopeta is bolder, with bitter chocolate, black coffee and an almost mineral, saline touch that gives it its own identity, at 85.
