About Alec Bradley
Alan Rubin left his family's fastener business in 1996 to get into cigars, and named his new company after his two sons, Alec and Bradley. The brand earned its biggest recognition in 2011, when the Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill was named Cigar Aficionado's Cigar of the Year.
In 2023 the Scandinavian Tobacco Group bought Alec Bradley. Rubin left afterward, while his sons took positions within STG, and today the brand is distributed by Forged Cigar Co. In 2026, for its 30th anniversary, it released Thirty Years, a blend Rubin helped choose, made at the Raíces Cubanas factory in Honduras with a Honduran wrapper from Trojes.
My Alec Bradley note is the Do Not Disturb, which scored 83.
